Asansol:The installation of metal fencing along the Khana-Sitarampur-Pradhankhunta route serves multiple crucial purposes. Safety and efficiency on the rails have taken a giant leap forward with the completion of ground-breaking crash barrier and RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) fencing projects. Spanning critical rail corridors, these projects cover approximately 257 kilometres the Khana-Sitarampur-Pradhankhunta route, reflecting an unwavering commitment to modernizing infrastructure.
The Asansol Division has played pivotal roles in the successful execution of this project. The division focused on the rapid deployment of metal fencing, employing a combination of machine-assisted and manual installation techniques to address various terrains, including challenging marshy lands. The division made significant progress on the Khana-Sitarampur-Pradhankhunta section, with 243 kilometers of RCC fencing already installed out of the 257-kilometer stretch.
