BCAS AVSEC training for PSA concludes at Kolkata Airport

Kolkata, September 9, 2022   Starting from September 10, 2022, members of a Private Security Agency (PSA) will be performing Aviation Security Duty in non-core areas and will replace the CISF duty personnel who are presently manning the non-core duty posts at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport, Kolkata.

Before getting posted at the Airport, the members of PSA were given five days BCAS AVSEC Induction Training which started from September 5, 2022 and concluded today.

This is the basic mandatory training for PSA which was conducted as per the guidelines of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). NSCBI Airport, Kolkata is the first AAI airport in India where such training was organised and the PSA has been posted at Kolkata Airport.
