DRMASANSOL INSPECTED ASANSOL-JASIDIH-DUMKA SECTION AND DUMKA GOODS SHED OF ASANSOL DIVISION

TNS Asansol, 15 September, 2022:     Shri Permanand Sharma, Divisional Railway Manager/Asansol along with nominated Branch Officers of Asansol Division inspected Asansol – Jasidih – Dumka Section today (15.09.2022). Shri Sharma,DRM/Asansol inspected Major Bridge No.603 between Madankatta and Joramow Stations. DRM/Asansol reviewed the progress of work of Limited Height Subway(LHS) between Dumka and Jasidih Stations and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials for expeditious completion of the works.

 

Shri  Sharma, DRM, Asansol inspected Dumka Goods Shed and reviewed progress of works in connection with the observations made by Pollution Control Board, Jharkhand. Works of pollution control screen guard wall, mass plantation, water sprinkling, rain water harvesting systems were checked by Shri Sharma. Shri Sharma instructed the Agency to expedite the above works which are directly related with immediate control of pollution arising out of the newly developed Dumka Goods Shed and targeted the preliminary works to be completed by 31.10.2022 which will help improving supply of Coal from this Goods Shed to various States for generation of required electricit

 

Shri Permanand Sharma, DRM/Asansol inspected safety and passengers amenity items in Mohanpur station and checked feasibility to develop one goods shed at this station.

 

Shri Sharma, DRM, Asansol also conducted window trailing inspection on Asansol – Jasidih – Dumka Section to check the track maintenance work and condition of track.
